A Wedding By the Sea

Set amongst bamboo trees and hanging palm leaves, candlelit tables are set on a terrace overlooking the sea, close enough to hear the sounds of the waves. Music and champagne flows as guests mingle amidst an atmosphere of joy and happiness as the bride and groom arrive. Congratulations are offered by friends and family followed by a toast to health and happiness. The joyous couple is overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and well wishes in this festive atmosphere. The stage was set for a night of celebration and what a night it was! A menu scroll with delicate ribbon was opened and dinner started with a gorgeous tower of smoked marlin and smoked salmon layered with pastry, drizzled with a cherry tomato, red sweet pepper and caper salsa, surrounded by a mango flavored sour cream and finished with a coriander dressing. A fresh mango sorbet arrived next to prepare us for the outstanding roast beef tenderloin stuffed with mushrooms & herbs, roasted to perfection with a green peppercorn & cognac sauce that was unbelievable. Following this outstanding dinner, a decadent chocolate mousse cake with Baileys and raspberries completed an already perfect meal. The Groom took the microphone for a heartfelt thank you and the speeches that followed were even truly amusing at times. On display was the gorgeous wedding cake, perfect in its simplicity, surrounded by pink and purple bougainvillea. The Bride and Groom cut the cake with cameras flashing to capture the magical moment. The first dance was under the stars on an oceanfront dance floor surrounded by sand and flaming torches. The private beach bar waits with attentive staff ready to serve. The music completely captured the night and everyone was dancing. It was a wonderful party. Thank you for making this special day so perfect!
